His work in Afghanistan has been published in many leading publications including Harper’s Magazine and Rolling Stone. In 2019, Andrew won World Press Photo in the Spot News Category and in 2016, a Gold Walkley, the highest honor in Australian journalism. His first photo book, ‘This is Afghanistan,’ a visual retrospective of his decade living in the country, was published in 2023.
