These elegant, lightweight drop earrings are inspired by the Ersari, a people group descendant from the Oghuz Turks. Turkmen jewelry holds deeply symbolic meanings tied to pre-Islamic, shamanistic belief systems.
Our co-founder Belinda designed the Ersari earrings by taking cues from the motifs and shapes of traditional Turkmen pieces. The steady hands of our jewelry partners then etched ornate designs into the metal and fitted each piece with a grain of lapis lazuli for a truly exquisite finish.
