What we do
Artijaan is a social enterprise which connects communities of craftworkers with thousands of years of ancestral knowledge to mindful consumers wanting unique and authentic products.
With an established presence and close relationships with communities on the ground, Artijaan is passionate about preserving traditional knowledge, and building connections between the modern world and our collective ancestral roots.
We collaborate with artisans to curate and co-create ethically handcrafted items of beauty, and transmit the human stories and knowledge of marginalised and often misrepresented cultures and peoples. At the heart of Artijaan, you will find a love of supporting people, of celebrating craftsmanship, and of sharing stories.
